From Mumbai to Paris, everyone seems to be talking about the upcoming 3rd Garage Sale of Seams For Dreams (SFD), led by actress and fashion philanthropist, Evelyn Sharma, which is happening at très chic Olive Bar and Kitchen in Bandra, Mumbai on Tuesday, the 4th of October, 2016 at 11am – 7pm.
Fashionistas everywhere will surely unite at this exclusive event that will feature vintage key fashion pieces that can be bought and owned, donated by the kind hearts of India’s top personalities.
What is so different from this year’s edition? For starters, following the success of the previous Garage Sale with VOGUE India, this upcoming event will bring together more of India’s film and fashion personalities once more to participate and give in style! Talk about celebrity glitter and sparkles while shopping vintage fashion pieces and donating without the fuss! You can also shop for exclusive up-cycled fashion pieces to be presented at the event.
Up-cycled fashion for those who have not yet heard about it, is wearing clothing made of recycled fabric. The aim of this gathering is to raise money in support of SFD’s mission to clothe 100,000 people across India this year, combined with other efforts of SFD in curating fashion pieces from fashionistas who donate their well-loved vintage fashion items. Funds from the Garage Sale and other charity events of SFD are reversed to the majority in need in India, clothing the world, one layer at a time.
