Hello and a very Happy Diwali to all our friends, families, and supporters from all across India! My team at Seams For Dreams and I have been diligently at work as we try to reach as many as people in need around India through our various initiatives. The holiday season is upon us and it’s so important to me and my team to do more during this festive season instead of slowing down.
This past month, we donated 200 pieces of clothing to Wishing Well and Angel Xpress Foundation and has also donated a total of 50 pairs of shoes to Greensole. All three organizations have received multiple donations from Seams For Dreams and we will continue collaborating with them for their various clothing needs as and when we receive more suitable donations. Every month, your donations are categorized and reorganized so that we can structure our distribution missions efficiently and reach more organizations and individuals who need our help.
Seams For Dreams also partnered again with The Hope Collab for an empowering women’s only event called Lightstreams and Fabric, where my team showcased and sold pre-loved designer wear and featured our newest awareness project Love Bundles! Our Love Bundles have been a great success and it is a fabulous way to give back in a small way too young women in our community who have endured many hardships in their childhood. Each Love Bundle can be sponsored at INR500 for one and consists of some lovely eco-friendly self-care and personal hygiene products from brands we love! I am so thankful for all the donations that keep pouring in and for everybody’s ongoing support! Our Seams For Dreams team is not only wrapping up a busy month but has also started planning the 5th annual Christmas Garage Sale. We really do hope to see everyone there!
