In the past few weeks, Seams For Dreams has seen an outpour of support by way of clothing donations. All of these donations will go towards the organization’s mission to clothe 100,000 people in India one layer at a time.
Most recently, Seams For Dreams made a hefty donation of 300 pieces of clothing to Green Yatra, an organization that has a mission to protect, conserve, and improve conditions of our planet by mobilizing local communities to come together to do their part to improve environmental conditions. Typically, Seams For Dreams donates 100 pieces of clothing during one outreach effort, but due to the massive inflow of donations our organization was able to triple the number of clothes that we were able to give this time.

The lot included dresses and kurtas, which are then going to be handed over to individuals that reside in the tribal areas across Maharashtra. SFD and Green Yatra guarantees that all clothing donations get into the hands of those who need them the most and help towards improving the livelihoods of these individuals. Green Yatra has been a partner of Seams For Dreams since 2015, and the collaboration continues to grow as more donations come in from our supporters.
