One of the Seams For Dreams’ goals this year was to collect more donations so that more people in need could be helped through the various NGO partners. Seams For Dreams also made a big effort on bringing on additional NGO partners that could be long-term recipients of support.
On the 3rd of June, Seams For Dreams’ NGO partner Wishing Well was the recipient of another donation of more than 300 articles of clothing and donated bags given to Seams For Dreams by Rocky S for further distribution from the organization. Seams For Dreams has had Wishing Well as an NGO partner since 2016 and SFD has now completed 12th distribution missions for the organization. Like Seams For Dreams, Wishing Well started off collecting donations of old items that people no longer wanted. Although Seams For Dreams’ focus happens to be fashion and pre-loved clothing, Wishing Well was collecting books and started mobile libraries for children who would not have access to such educational materials otherwise.
Seams For Dreams enjoys collaborating with NGOs that have a like-minded vision of collecting unwanted items and creating some value out of it. It is through these associations that various organizations can make a measurable impact in the lives of the less fortunate!
