In January of 2017, Seams For Dreams with your support was able to provide 150 items of second-hand clothe donations consisting of shirts, kurtis, jeans, pants, and tops for men, women, and children to our partner NGO Wishing Well and their outreach program. Wishing Well distributed the clothing to 5 of their affiliate organizations including the Chetana Foundation and Bal Jeevan Trust to hand-over the donations in rural areas with an urgent need of appropriate clothing.
Chetana Foundation partners with various hospitals such as Tata Memorial Hospital, JJ Hospital, Cama Hospital, St George’s Hospital, GT Hospital, and the Paraplegic Foundation. These hospitals cater to the poor, and we are honoured to be a part of their charitable efforts.
Bal Jeevan Trust has a center located in Vakola, where they work with children from the rag-picking community by providing educational and nutritional support. At Seams for Dreams, we are especially happy to help children in need, as they hold the key to our future.
Seams for Dreams hopes to continue working with esteemed organizations such as the Wishing Well and their non-profit partners as we believe in joining hands and in creating a strong network of NGOs that support and collaborate with each other to make this world a better place.
