Seams For Dreams’ longstanding NGO partner Wishing Well just received another distribution of clothing donations from the SFD headquarters. This time, the organization distributed the clothing to their partner NGOs, all organizations that have missions to make the world a better place for those who really need it.
The first recipient of donations from Wishing Well is an organization called Mumbai Mobile Creches, which gives the opportunity of education and happy, healthy childhood to children that live on construction sites with their parents who are migrant workers.
Another batch of women’s clothes were sent into the AAWC, or the Apne Aap Women’s Collective, for women who are victims of trafficking and their children. The last set of donations were sent to Chetana Foundation, an organization based in Navi Mumbai that works with children, parents, and teachers to provide various services for children, including education and vocational training.
