In 2017, Seams For Dreams has focused on creating great new alliances with partner NGOs and social enterprises. Expanding collaborations were a big part of the goals for the organization this year and they are happy to announce that a new budding relationship with another organisation named Sharansthan has recently commenced.
The Nagpur based organization has a special mission – they work against human sex trafficking and Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Restore these girls back into society. This prestigious organization has set up centers right outside of Nagpur’s Red Light District to educate both boys and girls.
Since Seams For Dreams mainly caters to underprivileged kids in need for clothing, the foundation has donated 150 pieces to the children who are part of the residential and day care program at Sharansthan. Typically, Sharansthan works with other groups and calls for donations for clothes so this partnership will definitely prove to be a fruitful collaboration and aid the NGO significantly.
Seams For Dreams will continue to update everyone on our distribution mission on the News section and are excited to work with even more worthy organizations. If any NGOs are interested in receiving support from SFD, the SFD team is always open to introductions.
