The Seams for Dreams team has been busy the past few weeks in preparation for the annual fundraiser to be held at JHELUM in Santacruz on the 4th of April. During this time, incoming donations have been plentiful thanks to the support from all of their generous supporters. These donations are then to be distributed amongst partner NGOs in support of furthering their good work!
SFD has most recently provided 100 items of second-hand clothing for women to Wishing Well during a planned outreach effort. Items such as jeans, t-shirts, and kurtas were contributed by SFD, after which Wishing Well distributed some of those items to their affiliate organizations.
Seams for Dreams continues working with organizations like Wishing Well, who are doing humbling work amongst those in need across Mumbai. Other affiliate NGOs will also come on board with Seams For Dreams, as the organization strives every day to find additional like-minded NGOs that share the same mission to make the world a better place.
The entire Seams For Dreams team would like to especially thank diligent donors who keep giving their clothes for others in need! Donors are the reason that the organization is able to continue smooth executions of the various outreach efforts.
In addition, Seams For Dreams is really looking forward to present the opportunity to the Mumbai community to come and shop for a cause at JHELUM, a multi-designer boutique owned and operated by one of Seams For Dreams’ very own Advisory Board members, Mrs. Jhelum Dalvi. Founder Evelyn Sharma and the rest of the SFD team are cordially inviting everyone to help support their mission by either donating their own pre-loved clothes at the event or coming to shop at the store, where one will be able to snag a lovely designer piece!
