Green Yatra is an NGO that is very special to the Seams For Dreams team. The mission, which is very similar to the core values of Seams For Dreams as well, focuses on leaving the world a better place by educating individuals, companies, and organizations on the importance of preserving our planet. Green Yatra now works across most Tier 1 cities in India in addition to Mumbai, such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Chennai, to name a few. Now, the organization is even working in Tier 2 cities in India and is expanding their reach each month.
Seams For Dreams has been working with Green Yatra now for 3 years and is thrilled to continue to support the vision of the entire Green Yatra team with additional distribution missions. This past month on the 14th of May, the SFD team donated 300 articles of clothing for the recipients of Green Yatra, allowing SFD to inch closer towards the goal to clothe 100,000 people in need across India each year. Of course, Seams For Dreams is always looking to expand its network of partner NGOs and hopes to help more organizations that may need appropriate clothing as well. Coming together as a community on a mission to accomplish more and do more good through fashion is something the SFD team always looks forward to.
