What better way to celebrate the holidays than to give back to those who need it most? On the 22nd of December, The Hope Collab and Seams For Dreams participated in the annual Christmas party held at the King George Memorial home for the elderly. In addition to a lively Christmas carolling program, there were also holiday meals served and Seams For Dreams had the pleasure of distributing 70 Love Bundles, which were sponsored by Susheel Harchandrai, Millie Kirpalani, Dhireen Shah, Kavita Khanna, Mukarram Tayabji and Ghanshyam Biyani, all of whom graduated from HR College in 1990.
Along with the Love Bundles, Seams For Dreams distributed body lotion and soaps from Naturma and toothpaste and toothbrushes by Benefitpaste.
Of course, Christmas would be incomplete without cake, so Seams For Dreams also handed out delicious plum cakes to the elderly at the event. This is an event that the team truly looks forward to each year, as our elderly community need not be forgotten during this festive season.
Of course, Christmas would be incomplete without cake, so Seams For Dreams also handed out delicious plum cakes to the elderly at the event, in memory of the late Tikam Naraindas Sujan, a noteworthy philanthropist and dear friend to the organisation. This association with The Hope Collab is an event that the team truly looks forward to each year, as our elderly community need not be forgotten during this festive season.
Since Seams For Dreams collects the most clothing donations during the holidays, especially due to the Garage Sale donation call, it gives the organization a larger scope to continue supporting the mission of partner NGOs. On the 19th of December, the SFD team donated another 300 articles of clothing to Green Yatra. Seams For Dreams looks forward to helping more NGOs across India through their initiatives and continues to look for additional partners to add to their list.
The entire SFD team wishes you and yours a very Merry Christmas indeed!
Keep giving in style!
