Seams For Dreams would like to give a special thanks to their Advisory Board member Mrs. Jhelum Gopal Dalvi for supporting the organization with a series of quarterly events, the “Fashion Fundraisers”, hosted by Jhelum Multi-designer Stores to raise funds in support of SFD’s mission to clothe 1,00,000 people in need across India.
Recently, SFD was a part of the Diwali celebration in collaboration with Access Life and distributed 22 articles of high-end clothing to children with cancer to brighten up their holiday on the 22nd of October, 2017. This was one of the planned events and SFD is grateful to Mrs. Dalvi for her continued support.
Earlier this year, Mrs. Dalvi helped SFD put on the first fashion fundraiser on 11th April at JHELUM Fashion House in Santacruz. Many people came to shop and show their support for founder Evelyn Sharma and the rest of the SFD team. As the organization receives more clothing donations from all over India, SFD is expanding operations and logistics through their fundraising efforts.
The funds mobilized at all events will be used to expand the Seams For Dreams efforts and go towards the goal of clothing 1,00,000 people in need. In addition to their current non-profit partners, Seams For Dreams will also be looking out for new NGOs to assist and collaborate with to reach said goal.
