The French Curiosity Club is an organization for passionate women with great ideas. This organization was conceptualized in Chicago by lawyer Margaux Hammer and launched in Paris back in 2015. This young organization now has presence in other big cities like London, New York and now Mumbai. FCC hosts meet-up opportunities which are a great place for like-minded, professional women from all around the world to come together for a cause to celebrate each other and exchange ideas. Of course, there is always room for charitable activities and Seams For Dreams is proud to now be affiliated with the Mumbai chapter of the organization.
Last week, FCC Mumbai had their first meet-up at Su Casa Bandra, where Seams For Dreams was the sole charity partner. Seams For Dreams had a display booth featuring vintage dresses for sale and an area where members could drop off their donations. The SFD team collected around 200 articles of clothing and also sold some dresses to women who attended the meet-up.
Seams For Dreams is excited to expand partnerships in new and creative ways with organizations that stand by their mission to clothe 100,000 people across India. Opportunities like the collaboration with FCC Mumbai allows the Seams For Dreams vision to be heard across multiple platforms and gets more people involved in giving back in style! The next FCC Mumbai event will be held in a couple of months so stay tuned for this unique opportunity for Seams For Dreams’ to help more individuals in need through social efforts.
