For the past four holiday seasons, the Seams For Dreams Holiday Garage Sale has grown and in the spirit of giving back during the festive season, the organization has been able to add more elements to the event. This year will mark the fifth year for the Garage Sale and here’s what you can expect at this year’s most happening holiday party!
The Garage Sale will feature multiple shopping experiences, including the chance to snag some beautiful designer wear and pre-loved clothing at a fraction of the full price. There will also be some lovely pieces that you may be able to recognize from your favorite Bollywood flicks! The organization will also have a sustainable clothing rack, which will have items beautifully crafted by sustainable designers from all across India. Of course, the Seams For Dreams Upcycled collection themed “Throwback Roadies” will be on display and the team will be taking orders for these one-of-a-kind denim-inspired designs, which were skillfully created by the SFD in-house design team! But, what happens with the rest of the denim scraps? For the first time ever, SFD will be selling upcycled accessories that were made from all the scraps from donations that were received. Finally, the exclusive Seams For Dreams designer merchandise t-shirts that were designed by Salita Nanda.
In addition to the shopping extravaganza, there will be lots of activities for the family like a kid’s play area and entertainment scheduled from 4:00pm-6:00pm, a selfie booth, Christmas decorations galore, a Happy Lunch Hour from 2:00pm-4:00pm, a gifting station, a raffle play area, and lots of holiday food for a feast that’s sure to make your bellies happy!
Make sure you’re at B-Kitchen and Bar in Juhu on the 15th of December for a day filled with festivities for a good cause!
This is a 100% non-profit event with the aim to raise funds in support of the SFD mission to clothe people in need across India. All funds raised carry Seams For Dreams as an organization throughout the next year and help us to spread awareness and reach more people in need, for which we have to expand our operations, grow our logistics and outreach network, employ more helping hands, and more.
