With the eco-fashion movement moving aggressively forward and Mumbai being at the forefront of it all with multiple designers following suit, Seams For Dreams was thrilled to find out about the opening of Toile. Toile is a multidesigner store that opened its doors on 11th of October and the store only showcases designers and brands that are sustainable. These designers are from India and a few are internationally renowned as well. This store is a big deal for the sustainable fashion movement in Mumbai, as smaller designers who do not have a large platform as yet are able to display their pieces.
Toile had the grand opening party on the 11th of October where many designers and sustainable fashion influencers were present, including SFD founder Evelyn Sharma. Toile specifically focuses on brands that are sustainable, handmade, upcycled, recycled, and fair trade.
