In our last article, we introduced Ms. Jhelum Gopal Dalvi as the newest addition to the board of Seams for Dreams Charity Foundation. As her first act of support to help raise awareness and funds for SFD, Ms. Dalvi has generously offered to host an event at her store JHELUM and we are excited to have HELLO! India on board as our official media partner! “This is a great way to get Mumbai’s elite to give back through fashion and shopping,” says Ms. Ruchika Mehta, Editor of HELLO! Magazine, who has been an integral part of the SFD journey since the beginning and is one of Evelyn Sharma’s dearest friends and well-wishers since the start of her film career in India.
The fundraiser will showcase certain pieces by all the big name designers including Rohit Bal, JJ Valaya, and Anamika Khanna, just to name a few. “We are proud to donate a big portion of the proceeds from the sales to Seams For Dreams for their upcoming outreach projects and endeavors,” declared Ms. Dalvi.
The event will be held on Tuesday, 11th of April, from 3-8PM at the JHELUM location in Santacruz West. The team is hoping for a great turn-out for the event that will gather people for the sake of a good cause. “I am extremely grateful to everyone involved and for more and more people joining Seams For Dreams. My vision has always been that this should be the go-to charity foundation for the film and fashion industry to come together to make the world a better place,” says Evelyn Sharma, founder and MD of Seams For Dreams.
