For the Seams For Dreams team, community is everything and creating relationships with NGO partners that share a similar mission and vision allows the organization to give back more to those in need. Green Yatra is the name of an NGO that all of SFD’s supporters and friends have heard of before and due to the great success of the Fairtrunk Offline event that happened earlier this month at the Ministry of New and at FAD International, the organization was able to donate another lot of clothes. At the event, the team collected many donations from participants of the swap, which were then segregated into clothes that were appropriate for redistribution and clothes that could then be utilized as a part of SFD’s upcycling initiatives.
In turn, SFD completed another distribution mission to Green Yatra with 200 articles of clothing. As always, SFD continues to seek out additional NGO partners to collaborate with to reach more people.
