It’s no surprise that Seams For Dreams has been growing rapidly since the start of 2017. Most recently, Seams For Dreams invited Mrs. Jhelum Gopal Dalvi to be on the advisory board for the organization and SFD is now thrilled to announce that Ms. Rachel Waters, philanthropist, social activist and founder of Mumbai’s neighbourhood outreach initiative The Hope Collab will also be joining the board.
Grown up and raised in Mumbai to parents strongly engaged in community service, Rachel’s heart beats for the city as a whole. The Hope Collab is Rachel’s latest initiative and SFD has already partnered with the organization to help renovate and give bedsheets to an old-age home. The organization focuses on bringing love and light into the various neighborhoods of Mumbai by simply treasuring those who need it the most. A close friend of Evelyn Sharma, founder of SFD, she shares the vision to clothes the ones in need around India and pledges her support to grow SFD’s mission, one layer at a time.
Rachel’s vision and desire to help those less fortunate and to uplift women has driven her to dedicate her life to service and SFD couldn’t be more proud to welcome this woman of strength and inspiration as the Honorary Member to the Advisory Board of SFD.
We are excited for Rachel to be hands-on while bringing her vision to life as we help clothe people in need all across India. Rachel has supported many charities throughout Mumbai and we are excited to have such an empowering personality and a woman with purpose join us. Together, we hope to do more wonderful things!
