Actor and philanthropist Evelyn Sharma announced ambassador for Habitat For Humanity India’s “Young Leaders BUILD” campaign.
New Delhi, 21 September 2015. Philanthropist Evelyn Sharma was honoured for her works with non-profit ganisation Seams For Dreams and was announced as the new youth ambassador for Habitat For Humanity India’s “Young Leaders BUILD”.
The Yaariyan actor who recently launched her own charity foundation Seams For Dreams, that uses the universal love for fashion to give back to humanity, has been stirring up the heat in the Bollywood industry with her mission to support social causes.
In her quest to give back to humanity she has found great support by her fellow actors and the Indian fashion industry, raising funds for Nepal relief efforts together with a leading fashion magazine recently at an event in Mumbai.
Habitat For Humanity described the young activist as a role model for her generation and Evelyn proclaimed that she would want to use her fame, status and voice to motivate the youth to do good, when she was invited to speak at the 5th Asia-Pacific Housing Forum in Gurgaon.
