At Seams For Dreams we believe with every change of season we should check our wardrobes and give away the things we haven’t worn in a long time, as those items can go to someone who can’t afford to shop for new clothes themselves. We would love to help you find a new home for your clothes this spring!
So far, SFD has received thousands of contributions from people of various walks of life and assures that all donations are safely distributed into the hands of the underprivileged. Since inception we have been able to impact more than 10,000 lives! The incoming donations are growing in numbers rapidly and in the month of January alone, our team received another 500 pieces of clothing that were further sent out to our trusted NGO partners all across India to help people in need, one layer at a time.
We are so thankful to our donors and would like to give you all an update on the wonderful projects we have going on!
Partner NGOs and Outreach Efforts: One of the organization’s goals this year is to find new partners to associate with and to assist them in furthering their goals to help as many people as possible. Just last month, SFD provided almost 500 items of second-hand clothing for children, men, and women through the affiliated non-profits and their outreach efforts.
SFD is excited to take on more initiatives as the capacity of the organization increases consistently with the growing number of clothing donors and financial supporters.
Up-cycled Fashion Line: Our fashion design team has started the preparation of the next edition of our exclusive SFD up-cycled clothing line, using all the old fabrics that are too worn out for distribution. SFD has played an active role in bringing the ethical fashion trend to India and hopes that more people get motivated through its continuing endeavors to use fashion to give back.
