The lovely Christmas tree that was front and center during Seams For Dreams Christmas Garage Sale was the perfect addition to the festive event. Many of the holiday decorations were donated by SFD supporters and the Christmas tree was also generously donated by social activist Shweta Rohira.
Shweta also made the candles at the event, which were a hit and sold out within minutes!
Because of these donations and contributions by individuals from the film and fashion industry, the Seams For Dreams event was a holiday success! Every single rupee raised at the event will go towards the organization’s goal to clothe 100,000 people across India. Seams For Dreams is grateful to Shweta for taking the time to decorate this tree, as even every ornament featured on the tree was handmade by her personally.
The tree will not be forgotten so quickly, however, as now the tree is passed on to SFD’s NGO partner The Hope Collab for the holiday event at the old-age home at the King George Memorial in Mahalaxmi. This tree was donated to the old-age home and the organization is hoping that the tree, along with the beautiful ornaments, will be able to spread more holiday cheer and love to the elderly at the King George Memorial. The holiday event, which took place on 16th December, supports the renovation efforts at the home.
Seams For Dreams is happy to be a part of spreading love and light this Christmas season to more communities in need! Happy holidays, you all!
