In 2016, we have continued great collaborations with partner NGOs and organizations that include The Hope Collab, Green Yatra, The Human Touch Foundation, Set Beautiful Free (An Initiative of Bombay Teen Challenge), Wishing Well and SOS.
This year, we are glad to announce that we have made a budding partnership with The Shawn Khambatta Foundation, a community that was established by Simone Khambatta, Founder and Creative Director of Simply Simone , in the memory of her late brother Shawn Khambatta, which aims to better the lives of children who have never experienced their parents warmth and love and the aged helpless people who have no one to care for them.
The whole team of Seams for Dreams is very motivated to take on this collaboration with Simone Khambatta’s foundation and we have started by sending out clothes that we have gained from previous clothing donation drives, with the bulk of pieces coming from last December’s Christmas Donation Drive.
We shall keep you updated with all the news and progress of the distribution of clothes with The Shawn Khambatta Foundation here on our website and on our social media channels. We shall also continue our mission in connecting with more groups and organizations this year that are one in our objective in helping the majority of people in India in need of clothes and aid, one layer at a time.
