Seams for Dreams recently partnered with The Hope Collab (THC) during their event entitled “The Hope Collab Light Streams & Fabric”. It was a partnership that celebrated fashion and women, empowering each and every one who were there through inspiring poems and stories with various fashion related activities that were shared to all.
The Hope Collab (THC) is a community promoting positive progress in society with the goal to empower and equip people to live their best life. THC sponsors various events, gatherings and international keynote speakers around Mumbai and India in the hopes to add to and further develop the meaning of being a human of the 21st Century.
SFD Founder and Fashion Philanthropist Evelyn Sharma with the team of The Hope Collab (THC).
The recent event of THC with SFD had women of all walks of life share their stories of life and hope. The objective of THC in partnership with SFD was to open the eyes of women and see that it is through their brokenness, through their cracks that true beauty and light shines through and it is through real and raw vulnerability that allows for much deeper and more intimate relationships.
Here is a quote from Brene Browne that spoke about vulnerability and was shared to all at the event during the dialogues:
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.” Brene Brown
The main speaker of the event was Kirrily Lowe, a dedicated writer, pastor and mother who wrote two beautiful poems that accompanied two of the outfits that were showcased at the event.
Here are the beautiful and inspiring poems that Lowe shared to the event plus the beautiful dresses that accompanied them:
