New Delhi, March 8 — Actor Evelyn Sharma, who is known for the social work that she does for the underprivileged, is working on a new project.
The actor will soon be starting her very own school for the underprivileged. Evelyn has her own NGO called Seams For Dreams, which she started last year, and will be opening a school with the same NGO.
“Right now, we are at the stage of fund-raising for this project. In fact, we are starting with our first fundraising event beginning this week in Mumbai,” says Evelyn, who is also the youth ambassador for Habitat For Humanity (India) and is also involved in supporting human rights and rescuing women out of human trafficking.
For her new project, Evelyn has already started talking to many of her friends from Bollywood, as well as the fashion industry.
“We have got some great response from the fashion fraternity, which would happily welcome our students in their own workshops,” adds the actor.
According to a source close to the actor, the school will provide training courses in tailoring, embroidery, hygiene, work ethics and this is something which Evelyn will personally be looking into.
