In 2017, Seams For Dreams has focused on creating great new alliances with partner NGOs and social enterprises. Expanding our collaborations were a big part of our goals for this year and we are happy to announce that we have just started a budding relationship with Green Sole.
Green Sole is an organization that contributes to social good by refurbishing discarded shoes with zero carbon footprint and employing members of the local community to refurbish them. They create and sell these trendy shoes and then donate a pair to someone in need of the basic necessity of footwear.

Shriyans Bhandari, the CEO and Co-founder, is passionate about a vision to bridge the social, economic and environmental gap through the work being done at Green Sole. So far, the organization has provided footwear to 50,000 people in need across the villages of India and in 2017, they plan to hit a goal to give footwear to 100,000 people in need. The work that Shriyans and the Green Sole team is doing is awesome and Seams For Dreams is proud to take on this partnership.
The SFD team has started to sort through the past donations received from all of our lovely donors and have already sent out the first shipment of gently-used shoes to Green Soles. Stay tuned for all the news and progress on our newest outreach effort with Green Soles on our website and our social media handles.
In the meantime, SFD plans to continue in its mission to connect with more like-minded groups to contribute to the goal of clothing people in need all across India, one layer at a time. Remember, if you know of any solid organizations we can work with, drop us a line!
